# About Bifrost

Bifrost is a global social app by Beijing Yanwan Technology Co., Ltd. We believe goals are easier to reach with someone walking beside you.

## What Bifrost is

Bifrost (Bifrost: Global social on the App Store) is a global social app that matches people with real partners by near-term goals. If both light each other up within 12 hours, they start a one-to-one seven-day journey and share daily to-dos and progress. After seven days, clear photos unlock and both can choose to continue. The app also offers a focus timer, a discovery community, direct and group chats, and the Bifrost AI assistant.

## Why we built it

Many plans stall when you are on your own. Bifrost starts a connection from **the goal you are working on** instead of distance or looks: first confirm you want the same thing, then act on it together for seven days. A fixed period keeps expectations clear, and shared to-dos make daily progress visible.

## Where the name comes from

Bifrost comes from Bifröst, the rainbow bridge between worlds in Norse mythology. It describes what the app sets out to do: build a bridge between people in different cities, languages, and cultures who share a goal.
